IPSWICH YM hosted a Northampton Saints Camp attended by 68 young rugby players.
A core of Ipswich YM youngsters were joined by players from Colchester, Diss, Hadleigh, Sudbury and Woodbridge RFCs as well as a number of local schools.
The focus was on fun and inclusive participation and at the end of the day, Saints coaches rewarded the boys’ and girls’ efforts with exclusive Saints T-shirts and rugby balls.
Prizes were awarded to those players from each of the three age groups who showed a very high technical ability, acute game sense and team focus.
YM’s own Harry Rowland won the U11s–U12s prize and Anton Limlei took the U13s–U16s honours.
It seems like a good few days was had by all and the camp proved a popular event.
