SAM Walker has made quite an impression, since his loan move from Chelsea.
Colchester United’s new keeper has caught the eye in all three of his appearances, two of which the U’s won, against Walsall and Portsmouth.
And he was man-of-the-match in Tuesday night’s 1-0 home defeat by Swindon Town.
U’s boss Joe Dunne enthused: “Sam is a tremendous presence between the sticks.
“He mis-kicked a bit (on Tuesday). However, he is a big frame to get the ball past.
“He’s made two or three excellent saves, more than (Wes) Foderingham (Swindon keeper). He’s a massive presence,” added Dunne.
The U’s entertain Preston on Saturday.
