Elliott Hewitt has returned to Colchester United, on a second loan move from Ipswich Town.
Hewitt made six senior appearances, during an initial one-month loan stay with the League One U’s, before going back to his parent club Ipswich 12 days ago.
But the 20-year-old right-back has today returned to the U’s, for another month’s loan switch.
Hewitt will go straight into the U’s squad, for tomorrow night’s away game at Barnsley. He is expected to fill his familiar right-back role, with Sean Clohessy moving to left-back.
