Felixstowe & Walton should have striker Nick Ingram available after two appearances from the substitutes’ bench following an extended spell of illness as they return to the Goldstar ground after two away games that saw their six-match winning run come to an abrupt end at Thetford in the second of them.
They host a Walsham-le-Willows side that took maximum points at the Goldstar at the end of October in the reverse fixture, and with Paul Smith’s side still on the fringe of the relegation battle, Seasiders’ manager Kevin O’Donnell knows there is little room for manoeuvre as the league title chase hots up, going into the last two months.
Newmarket climbed up into second following last week’s round of results, while Gorleston closed the gap in midweek with a win over the same side.
But a home win would see them climb back into second spot with two games in hand over the Jockeys, who have the afternoon off.
