The chasing pack have games in hand, but the closest, Coggeshall, would have to win them all and still be trailing by five points.
All the goals came in the first half, with Joe Francis getting them under way in the fourth minute and then rounding it off with his second of the night after 38 minutes.
In between, Stuart Boardley and Miles Powell produced high quality finishes to leave the home side bemused after seeing Crump deny them twice, with terrific saves at the other end.
Connor Ingram reduced the deficit mid-way through the second half with a superb free kick as the visitors took their foot off the pedal, but the Seasiders always looked capable of stepping up a gear if necessary.
