FELIXSTOWE & Walton United manager Kevin Witchalls has swooped to sign two youngsters who have both been with academies.

Wtchalls has been busy behind the scenes strengthening his squad following the departure of striker Allicion Blake, who has followed Roger Burton out of the Goldstar Ground exit door.

The Seasiders signed former Peterborough United player Josh Capocci from fellow Ridgeons League Premier Division side Brantham Athletic earlier this week and have now completed the paperwork to bring Remi Garrett, who was at Cambridge United, to the club from Hadleigh United.

Witchalls said: “I am very much up for giving youngsters a chance at this level, although you have to be careful with the overall balance of the side, but they have both had scholarships so we know the quality is there.

“Remi is almost a direct replacement for Allicion and when Josh became available the opportunity to sign him was too good to turn down.”
