HULL City are understood to have made a second offer to buy Alan Lee from Hull City.
The Tigers have already had one bid of £400,000 rejected by the Blues but have come back with a bid nearer £600,000 for the striker who will be a free agent next season.
City have had a bid of £400,000 accepted by Colchester United for former Town defender Wayne Brown who will join former U's team-mate Richard Garcia at the KC Stadium.
