INFLUENTIAL midfielder Michael Shinn has become the third AFC Sudbury player to put pen to paper and commit his future to the club.
rom the pain of missing out on the play-offs following Monday’s 2-2 draw with Needham Market, AFC supporters were given some welcome news that Shinn will stay at Sudbury next season.
AFC boss Nicky Smith said: “He is the type of player we want to encourage to the MEL Group Stadium. He is energetic and has a great passing game as well as being a good dead ball specialist. I see him as becoming a real crowd favourite next season.”
Shinn, who signed for AFC earlier in the season from Dartford, follows top scorer James Baker and Dave Wareham who also signed for the 2011/12 campaign.
