THREE Metaltec SIL Senior Division players are making headlines in the Civil Service Lewis Cup having helped the national Revenue and Customs side reach the semi-finals.

Jamie Sandilands (Capel Plough), Ian Watson (Felixstowe United) and Kevin Holland (Stowupland) were in the Revenue and Customs team that were in the same group as Land Registry and GCHQ.

They played the former at Liverpool and won 4-2 and both Watson and Sandilands on the scoresheet.

Two weeks later they were away (Cheltenham) to GCHQ and after a slow start eventually ran out 4-1 winners with Sandilands finding the net twice.

The semi-final is due to be played at Lilleshall on April 22.
