IPSWICH Witches’ poor home form was in evidence again, as Workington Comets easily took the Premier League points away from Foxhall Stadium.
Not for the first time this season, the ‘Sackers’ Witches came up against a visiting side who could not only gate, but attacked the track with relish. The Witches won just four races, with this result leaving their League season looking precarious and although they can afford a top six finish to get into the play-offs, more home form like this and that hope looks improbable.
