Suffolk FA and sponsors DE Photo are organising the competition in association with Archant Ltd, publishers of the East Anglian Daily Times and Ipswich Star.

Entries can be of any scenario in football – on match-day, a team shot or even a staged picture – providing it is a photograph depicting the grassroots and not the professional game.

At the end of the season the judging panel, which will include representatives from Suffolk FA, DE Photo and Archant Ltd, will meet before announcing the winners.

The winner will receive a 600mm x 400mm canvas photograph of their winning entry.

The runner-up and third-placed entries will receive 450mm x 300mm canvas photographs of their winning entries.

All three winners will also receive a certificate.

Suffolk FA Marketing & Communications Officer Nick Garnham said: “We have received some good entries already this season, some of which are pictured here.”

“However, with plenty of opportunities for amateur photographers between now and the end of the season to take an eye-catching shot, we look forward to receiving even more entries.”
