After an even opening 10 minutes, fifth-placed Stowmarket took a well-deserved lead through the boot of Dan Garrard.
Unfortunately, from the kick-off, the visitors conceded possession and the hosts immediately took advantage.
This was all the encouragement that promotion-chasing Wanstead required, and they took every opportunity to run the ball from every position on the field.
The first up tackling and ragged defensive line from Stowmarket merely compounded the situation.
