Tottenham Hotspur are in Suffolk this evening as the Ladies team visit Bury Town Ladies in the First Round of the Ryman Women’s Cup.

It promises to be a fascinating match-up for the Suffolk side as they pit their wits against their highly-ranked opponents, who play in the FA Women’s Premier League Southern Division - the third tier of women’s football in the country.

KBB Suffolk Girls and Women’s Football League 2013/14 League Champions Bury Town, who have remained unbeaten so far in their new league of the Eastern Region Women’s Football League Division One North, will hope for a major upset in front of a good crowd this evening, where the club will be hoping to attract many of the usual faces who turn up to watch the men’s team.

This is undoubtedly the biggest game in Bury’s short history, and the Ladies will go into the encounter fearless having won all four of their League games so far this season - with triumphs over Norwich City Reserves, AFC Sudbury, and Ipswich Wanderers - one of which 10-0 scoreline.

Why not get yourself down to Ram Meadow this evening? Kick-off is at 7.45pm, £3 for adults, £1.50 for concessions, while children go free.
