ST Joseph’s College will today undertake the first leg of hopeful double glory in a prestigious rugby cup competition.
The Ipswich school’s Under-18s rugby side travel to Hampton School, London, looking for a place in the quarter-finals of the Daily Mail RBS Cup.
The Under-15s will also be gunning for the last eight of the national tournament when they host John Fisher School, Surrey, tomorrow (2pm ko).
Mark Patterson, director of sport, said: “It is the first time St Joseph’s have had two teams left at this stage of the competition. Both have a big ask but they are winnable matches and we have left no stone unturned to ensure they have a decent chance.”
