Stars turn out for charity cricket match

IPSWICH Town's footballers swapped their boots for bats tonight as they took on Ipswich and East Suffolk Cricket club.They lost the 20-20 charity match at Chantry Park by three runs.

IPSWICH Town's footballers swapped their boots for bats tonight as they took on Ipswich and East Suffolk Cricket club.

They lost the 20-20 charity match at Chantry Park by three runs. Jim Magilton's team were chasing a target of 147 and fell short even after 15 players had batted and they were allowed an extra two overs!

The match, which featured a host of first-team stars, was raising money for the East Anglian Children's Hospices.
