IPSWICH Town's footballers swapped their boots for bats tonight as they took on Ipswich and East Suffolk Cricket club.
They lost the 20-20 charity match at Chantry Park by three runs. Jim Magilton's team were chasing a target of 147 and fell short even after 15 players had batted and they were allowed an extra two overs!
The match, which featured a host of first-team stars, was raising money for the East Anglian Children's Hospices.
