FORMER Harwich & Parkeston and Felixstowe Town footballer Steve Page passed away this morning.
Page, who was 72, was a legendary centre half at both clubs.
He joined Harwich & Parkeston, who were then in the Athenian League, in the mid-1960s, before moving to Felixstowe in the early 1970s.
He was later secretary of Felixstowe and also the club’s Suffolk FA representative.
Page, who was still involved with the club up until his death, taught at both Tower Ramparts and Chantry High School in Ipswich.
