London 3 North - Stowmarket 24 Norwich 19
STOWMARKET enter their last two matches with a realistic chance of obtaining promotion for the second year running after a hard-fought victory against Norwich who, until this result, also had an outside chance of promotion to London North East 2.
The home team opened the scoring with a great slice of luck when the referee missed a series of knock-ons and forward passes and allowed the hosts to score under the posts. Tom Searles added the extra points.
Norwich took the game to their opponents but the home side added a further three tries before half-time, securing a vital bonus point.
In the second half, Norwich managed to bring their tally to within one converted try of the half-time score.
