Sudbury’s Billy Bird is the new British Masters Bronze light-middleweight champion.
The 21-year-old stopped Leicester’s Simon Henry in the fifth round at St Andrew’s Hall in Norwich, on Friday night.
Bird’s record remains unblemished with 10 professional victories, including two stoppages.
“It’s unbelievable, the best feeling I have had as a boxer, no doubt,” said Bird.
