DANNY Bloomfield, who scored twice in his 16 outings for Cambridge City this season, has moved to BGB Southern League Division One AFC Sudbury.Since his return to Milton Road from Kings Lynn in November, the striker has failed to recapture the form that made him such a favourite and has responded to the interest Sudbury has expressed in him.
DANNY Bloomfield, who scored twice in his 16 outings for Cambridge City this season, has moved to BGB Southern League Division One AFC Sudbury.
And manager Nicky Smith is delighted.
“I hope to our fans it shows we still mean business,” said the Sudbury boss.
“We have missed a goalscorer and getting Danny is a great coup.”
Bloomfield has signed a contract until the end of next season.

Bloomfield should be in the AFC Sudbury squad for the trip to Atherstone this weekend.
