AFC Sudbury will travel to Tilbury’s Chadfields ground today to play Haringey Borough, following their opponents’ pitch being deemed unfit to play the Ryman North meeting on Saturday.

Jamie Godbold’s men lead the table by 10 points from second-placed Harlow Town, but can ill-afford any slip ups.

Their nearest rivals have two games in hand on the Yellows and are due to play the west Suffolk side at the Wardale Williams Stadium on the final day of the season, in what could be a potential title-decider.

Aside from the 4-0 home slip-up to Thurrock three weeks ago, Sudbury have been in scintillating form, winning 15 of their previous 17 league games, although they found it tough to break down bottom team Barkingside last Saturday, with leading scorer Craig Parker despatching a late penalty to give his side all three points.

Today’s opponents are unbeaten in five games and lost the corresponding fixture in Suffolk, 2-0, back in October.
