The region’s top non-league sides discovered who they will be facing on the opening weekend of the 2017/18 season today.

Match-ups for the newly-named Bostik League – formerly the Ryman League – were released, with last year’s top Suffolk side, Leiston, starting on August 12 by hosting newly-promoted Dorking Wanderers.

Needham Market, meanwhile, will travel to Burgess Hill Town, who finished 19th last season. Lowestoft, who finished 11th last campaign and round out Suffolk interest in the top league, kick-off their season with a trip to Leatherhead.

Across the border, newly-promoted Brightlingsea Regent hit the road for a clash with Tooting & Mitcham United.

In Bostik Division One North, relegated AFC Sudbury host Canvey Island, Bury Town host Romford, Heybridge Swifts entertain Mildenhall Town, Maldon & Tiptree travel to Ware and Witham host Potters Bar Town.
