Clacton's Martin Smith claimed six for 25 as Suffolk dismissed their hosts for just 65 after a delayed start in the 50 overs-a-side competition at Challow & Childrey, but Suffolk then lost early wickets in their reply to leave the outcome in the balance.
All-rounder Chris Swallow then struck a six and a four on his way to 15 not out as Suffolk won in the 26th over of their innings.
