SUFFOLK took the honours on the opening day of their Minor Counties Championship match against Buckinghamshire at Ipswich School today.They were able to declare on 325 for five, thus picking up maximum batting points, and Bucks finished a rain-interrupted day on 10 for one.

SUFFOLK took the honours on the opening day of their Minor Counties Championship match against Buckinghamshire at Ipswich School today.
They were able to declare on 325 for five, thus picking up maximum batting points, and Bucks finished a rain-interrupted day on 10 for one.
Tom Huggins top-scored with 95 and Hassan Adnan ended undefeated on 72 while skipper Phil Caley made 34, leaving him 16 short of becoming Suffolk's all-time leading run-maker.
