MARTIN Head, chief executive of Suffolk FA, has replied to criticism that dates for the Suffolk Senior Cup should not have clashed with this Saturday's FA Vase matches.
Head says: “I would like to point out that the FA Vase and Suffolk Senior Cup games were played on the same relative date last season without any problem being highlighted.
“We are also aware that Norfolk FA play their Senior Cup matches on the same day.
“The clash has occurred this season due to the success of Suffolk clubs, which we as an organisation are delighted about.
“We will however look to see if we can avoid the problem in future seasons.”
