The 21-year-old right winger - who has been described at the 'Ronaldo' and 'Beckham' of the Middle-East - has already played 25 times for his country.
“Al-Muhammadi had a successful trial,” said the midfielder's agent Nader Shawki.
The wide player has been at Egyptian side ENPPI since 2006, but has been tracked by a number of Europe's top clubs. An offer from German side Hertha Berlin was turned down in 2007, while the player refused a bid from Romanian outfit Rapid Bucharest the same year.
In October last year Premier League side Blackburn Rovers reportedly took him on a five day trial.
