Storms took both their A and B teams to compete at the second round of this year's Suffolk County Winter League. The A team were competing at Bury St Edmunds and the B team headed off to Stowmarket. Many of the Storms squad have been in an intensive training period on the lead up to the County's championships in March. This didn't stop them turning out some great performances.

The A team, competing in Division One came up against local rivals Halstead and West Suffolk. The second round of competition involves 100m events for most age groups, which seemed to favour the Storms swimmers. Storms A had a great battle with Halstead right up until the end of the gala, pipping them to 3rd place by just 6 points. West Suffolk however, were superior on the day, taking 2nd place to Lowestoft A by a single point.

In the 2nd Division gala, Sudbury B delivered some incredible performances and took on some of the leagues stronger teams with a nail biting climax to the gala which left three teams 5 points apart. Storms B finished in 3rd place ahead of Saxons B but only 2 points behind 2nd place Stowmarket B.
