Sudbury Storms hosted their annual Development Last Chance Open Meet at the Kingfisher Leisure Centre, with more than 250 swimmers from across the region competing in what is the final opportunity to qualify for the Suffolk County Development Championships at Ipswich Crown Pools this month.

Sudbury Storms hosted their annual Development Last Chance Open Meet at the Kingfisher Leisure Centre, with more than 250 swimmers from across the region competing in what is the final opportunity to qualify for the Suffolk County Development Championships at Ipswich Crown Pools this month.

The Storms squad of 32 swimmers was in great form, recording a total of 121 personal best times and 111 County Development Qualifying Times.

Storms will take a large squad of swimmers to the development championships; between them they will swim 115 individual races.

The team has also received some great news from the Suffolk ASA. Two members of the Storms, Ashley Buck and Thomas Williams, the club's most experienced swimmers, have been selected to swim for Suffolk at the Inter Counties gala next month.
