A TALK is being given tonight by a former Olympic competitor on how to improve sports performance. Professor Bill Tancred MBE competed for Great Britain in two Olympic Games, in 1968 and 1972, in the discus, and then spent almost 25 years as a national athletics coach before moving into lecturing in Higher Education as a Professor of Sports Science.

Sports players and coaches who are interested are invited to attend at the main hall of Felixstowe Leisure Centre. The talk, promoted by DC Leisure Management Ltd, will be free to attend and begins at 8pm.
