Irishman Douglas missed the weekend win over Nottingham Forest after cutting his foot at Huddersfield, and comes into the centre of midfield, alongside Kevin Foley, in place of Hyam.

McCarthy had hoped to be able to include Daryl Murphy (calf) and Cole Skuse (toe ligaments) tonight but neither are fit enough to make the bench,

Ipswich Town: Bialkowski, Chambers, Smith, Berra, Knudsen; Bru, Foley, Douglas, Pringle; Sears, Pitman.
