The Woodpeckers got off to an amazing start, Mark Ray’s cross after only 35 seconds being met by Trotter, whose first-time shot made it 1-0.

Trotter added his second a minute later, with a neat finish, taking advantage of uncertainty in the home defence.

George Bowman’s cross after 12 minutes found Trotter but he headed wide, before Ray’s shot on 16 minutes went inches off target.

The away side increased their lead after 32 minutes when George Bowman’s accurate corner was headed in by Liam Scopes to make it 3-0 to the league leaders.
