IPSWICH Witches were beaten 42-48 by a solid Glasgow team at Foxhall Stadium.
Led by young Aussie Nick Morris (15) and captain James Grieves (13), the Tigers were worthy winners.
It was a thrilling meeting and swayed one way and then the next. But Ipswich had too many chinks in their armour, despite a good home debut by Frenchman Mat Tresarrieu (9 points.).
