Tottenham to make offer for James
ENGLAND keeper David James could be on his way to Tottenham if a 2million offer is accepted.
If Harry Redknapp has his way then James could be the next big star to leave struggling Pompey. Redknapp has been stealing players from Portsmouth ever since he left in 2008. James would be next on the list, joining Jermaine Defoe and Peter Crouch.
Current Spurs' keeper Heurelho Gomes has been subject to constant criticism after joining spurs in 2008. His opening few Premier League games were filled with blunders, the most notable being when he inexplicably let Ashley Young's weak shot slip underneath him during a match against Aston Villa.
