Bury Town and AFC Sudbury have both been handed tough ties in the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Trophy which was drawn earlier today.

With £4,000 and a place in the first round proper to play for, Bury will entertain fellow Ryman Premier outfit Grays Athletic on November 16 while Sudbury travel to Conference South side Tonbridge Angels.

Bury squeezed past Ryman North’s Chatham Town 2-1 on Saturday and will now look to gain revenge on a mid-table Grays side, who defeated the Blues 4-3 in an enthralling league encounter earlier in the season.

Sudbury, meanwhile, travel to Tonbridge, Kent in an extremely difficult tie after narrowly defeating Ryman South outfit Hastings United 1-0 on Saturday.

Hastings reached the third round of the FA Cup last season in a fairytale run that was finally ended at Championship side Middlesbrough.
