IPSWICH Town will be seeking some early season silverware - and a 2006/07 double - when they play Brighton & Hove Albion at Portman Road tonight (kick-off 7pm).

Both teams won their respective groups in the Pontin's Holidays Combination last season with the play-off final held over until now because of Brighton's May commitments.

Officially titled the Champions Cup final, Ipswich will start favourites having won the East section at a canter while Brighton just pipped Southampton for first place in the South section.

Ipswich are expected to field a strong side made up of first team squad players who did not feature strongly in last night's Carling Cup game at MK Dons.

The likes of Billy Clarke, George O'Callaghan and Jaime Peters are possible starters while Matt Richards and Sito Castro are also set for selection.

Tickets will be available at the Britannia Stand turnstiles tonight.

Access for season ticket holders is free, with entry for Under-16s at £3 and all others at £5.

Town begin their Pontin's League 2007/08 fixtures with a game at Northampton next Tuesday. They entertain Southend on Monday September 10.
