IPSWICH Town have already sold 17,000 season tickets for the 2005/06 campaign - more than had been sold before the current season kicked off.
John Ford, Town's ticket office manager, told the club website: “By the time of the Gillingham match, we had sold 16,898 season tickets.
“That figure did rise with latecomers and the half-yearly season ticket offer but we have already passed the 17,000 mark for next year and applications are continuing to come in.”
