Ipswich Town launched a late fightback but came out second-best in Saturday afternoon’s 2-1 defeat at QPR.
Substitute Bersant Celina scored a stunning late goal to set up a grandstand finish after Jamie Mackie and Luke Freeman had scored either side of half-time to put Rangers two-goals up.
Town new-boy Callum Connolly then saw a late goalbound shot, from Celina’s cross, blocked as the hosts recorded their third win out of three at Loftus Road this season.
For Town, it was their second successive league defeat after four wins to start the season.
