IPSWICH ‘Sackers’ Witches face a hectic few days as they embark on a quest for some silverware to round off their season.

Tomorrow night they welcome the ‘Cases’ Somerset Rebels to Foxhall for the second leg of the Premier League Cup Final.

The home team have given themselves a tough task after losing by fourteen points in the first leg at the Oaktree Arena last Friday.

However Ipswich Team Manager, Pete Simmons, remains optimistic “It’s certainly not going to be easy to pull this back but we have hit 15+ point victories on several occasions this year so it is do-able but we will need a bit of luck and some great support from our fans to cheer the lads on if we are to pull it off.”

Saturday night will herald the last home meeting of the season at Foxhall and it will see the arrival of the Newcastle ‘Sapphire Engineering / Darrian Properties’ Diamonds for the first leg of the Knock Out Cup Final. The second leg takes place on the following day at Brough Park. As already advertised Ipswich will sign off the 2012 season at Foxhall with their now traditional Halloween themed evening. Pete Simmons has said “We will need a decent lead to take to Brough Park on Sunday but with the Witches being the only team to take a league point from the Geordies at home this season I quite fancy our chances there and for us to lift the cup on Sunday evening.”

Ipswich will field their usual lineup for both meetings with honorary Witches reserve Stefan Nielsen guesting at number 7 in place of Cameron Heeps. Somerset have booked Workington number one, Craig Cook, in place of the injured Jason Doyle with the rest of their lineup as it was last Friday. On Saturday Newcastle have booked Paul Starke to cover for Steve Worrall and Matthew Wethers to cover for Richie Worrall.
