STANWAY Rovers have reached their second Ridgeons League Cup final in four years.
Steve Pitt’s side won 3-1 at Dereham Town on Saturday courtesy of two goals from Michael Cheek and one from Ben Newson.
Dereham’s reply was an own goal. The tie at Aldiss Park was watched by a crowd of 166.
Stanway won the cup in 2008/09, defeating Leiston 5-4 on penalties after a 2-2 draw.
They will now face Norwich United in the final at Diss Town FC on Bank Holiday Monday, May 7, kick-off 3pm.
