Braintree Town suffered an afternoon to forget at the hands of Barnet, having both centre-halves sent off in the first half.
Dean Wells was dismissed after just two minutes for ploughing into Mark Byrne. He was flashed a straight red card for serious foul play.
The Iron therefore faced playing 88 minutes with 10 men, and it got worse just after the half-hour mark when fellow centre-half Alan Massey was also sent off for a professional foul on Harry Crawford.
Keeper Nathan McDonald saved the ensuing penalty by Jack Hyde, but second half goals by Keanu Marsh-Brown, Byrne and Hyde propelled Barnet to the top of the Skrill Conference.
