FORMER Ipswich Town Academy defender Lee Beevers has this morning signed for Colchester United.
Beevers, who had turned down the offer of a new contract at Lincoln City, has put pen to paper on a two-year deal at the Community Stadium.
The 25-year-old has been a big hit at both Boston United and Lincoln over the last few seasons. He can operate anywhere across the back four, in central defence as well both full-back positions.
