NEWLY-promoted West Ham will visit Colchester United for a pre-season friendly this summer.
The Hammers, promoted to the Premier League earlier this month, thanks to a play-off final win over Blackpool, will take on the U’s at the Weston Homes Community Stadium on Saturday, July 21 (kick-off 3pm).
It is the latest in a trio of attractive pre-season games to be announced, featuring the U’s on home soil.
John Ward’s men will entertain Derby County on Friday, August 3, and also Ipswich Town on Wednesday, August 8.
