Ipswich Town face newly-relegated Sunderland in a Championship clash at Portman Road tomorrow night (7.45pm ko).
Blues boss Mick McCarthy spoke to the press ahead of that match at lunchtime today and you can re-watch the question and answer session here.
Town lost 3-2 at table-toppers Leeds United on Saturday to slip to seventh in the standings, but there were plenty of positives to take from the performance.
Sunderland, playing outside of the top-flight for the first time in a decade, have made a slow start to life back in the Championship under new boss Simon Grayson.
The Black Cats have just one league win to their name so far, an early 3-1 win at Norwich, and sit in the relegation zone ahead of their 550-mile midweek round trip to Suffolk.
They lost 2-1 at home to Cardiff at the weekend, having already been defeated by Leeds, Barnsley, Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest. They’ve drawn against Derby, Sheffield Wednesday and Hull.
