WEST Bergholt were forced into extra time before winning the Kent Blaxill Border League Knockout Cup Final 4-2 against Hatfield Peverel at the AFC Sudbury ground last night.

A late goal from Hatfield Peverel, who won the cup last year, took the game into extra time, but West Bergholt eventually prevailed with two more goals.

The trophy was presented to the winning team by Marcus Elwin of league sponsors Kent Blaxill.
