Football: Following on from their odd goal in five home defeat against the full first team squad of Colchester United last weekend, Tiptree United are now looking forward to Gianfranco Zola's West Ham rolling into town for the next stage of their pre-season programmne.
The game at Chapel Road on Wednesday has a 7.30pm kick off and although it is not expected that the 'Hammers' will have their Premiership stars on display, the match should still provide the opportunity for local 'Claret & Blue' fans to see many of their up and coming youngsters of the future.
Despite the match not being all-ticket, fans are urged to be at the ground early and extra car-parking has again been made available at the Wilkin Jam factory to help ease congestion.
