I'm mightily relived to be in the hat for the fourth round. This was a case of after the Lord Mayor's Show for us after Birmingham. Chester did all the basics very well, scrapped, tackled won the second ball and did all the nasty things better than us and I have told the players exactly that.

I'm mightily relived to be in the hat for the fourth round. This was a case of after the Lord Mayor's Show for us after Birmingham. Chester did all the basics very well, scrapped, tackled won the second ball and did all the nasty things better than us and I have told the players exactly that.

Chester made it difficult for us and we didn't have enough players showing enough desire to get on the ball.

The draw was the very least Chester deserved and they made the most of getting their second chance.

We might have stolen it at the end but that would have been very harsh on Chester. Home advantage may swing it our way in the replay but there is still a lot to do.

Ipswich manager Jim Magilton

I have not played many games over the last six or seven weeks and it took me a little while to get up to match sharpness but I felt better as the game went on.

A draw was probably a fair result. It was a scrappy match and we are capable of playing a lot better than we showed

Lewis has got a slight injury so I'm not sure if it will be just for one match or not. We will have to wait and see how it goes. He's been playing well so it's a case of me training hard and waiting for my chance but it was definitely great to be out there.

Town keeper Shane Supple

I'm very proud of the boys. Ipswich have got some really exceptional players and we were probably hanging on at the end, but I thought on the whole we more than dominated them.

We started ever so well and each and every one of my players gave everything they had and maybe on another day it could have gone our way. I think with the chances we had we should have won, but it wasn't really down to luck, but poor finishing. The only thing we were missing was a couple of goals.

They gave us 90 minutes and I can't say any player let me down. The cup is a great leveller and, even though there are 49 places between the sides, I don't think that matters in the cup because on their day any side can beat anybody.
