Whitton United and Ipswich Wanderers drew 0-0 in the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division, at King George V Playing Field, last night.
Whitton are bottom of the league, 10 points from safety with four games to play, while Wanderers moved up to 16th, five points clear of the drop.
Whitton goalkeeper Ross Welton twice denied Ross Myhill, as well as thwarting Jack Severy. Myhill also had a header cleared off the line for Wanderers.
Whitton’s best chances fell to Jamie Cole, whose shot was saved by James Bradbrook and James Burnett, who blasted a volley narrowly over.
