A HAT-TRICK by Rob Wignall saw Witham Town thrash Hadleigh United 5-2 at the Millfield on Tuesday night.
Wignall gave the Essex Senior League side the lead but Craig Payne equalised before Nicky Love restored Witham’s lead before half time.
Two goals in three minutes from Wignall - the second a superb strike from 40 yards - put Witham 4-1 ahead before Chris Rose cut the deficit. Tony Walkin completed the scoring for the visitors.
