IPSWICH Evening Star Witches have taken Carl Wilkinson back as their No.8. He did the job a couple of years ago and has been drafted back in with a 3.08 average to cover for the remainder of the season.
Jan Graversen was signed as a replacement for Robbie Kessler after his retirement earlier in the season but he broke his collarbone at Mildenhall on Sunday. Wilkinson will be at Peterborough in an Elite League meeting on Monday because Tobi Kroner has not recovered from his broken finger in time.
Scunthorpe rider Wilkinson is programmed at No.8 and is eligible to take rider replacement rides on a big wide circuit that will suit his style.
