EVENING Star Ipswich Witches have announced two further signings for the 2008 season - skipper Chris Louis and the 25-year-old Pole, Jarek Hampel.

Hampel returns to ride for the Witches for a second time after a spell with the club in 2002 and 2003, where demonstrated the potential that has now seen him become one of the best riders in Poland. He remains the track record holder around the Foxhall circuit after setting a time of 57.5 seconds in September 2002. His signing is a huge boost to the club.

Witches team manager Pete Simmons said: “I am thrilled that Jarek has been able to commit himself to Ipswich and am delighted to have a rider of his quality join us. I am targeting a place in the top four in the Elite League to reach the play-offs.”

The club is also now able to release details of season ticket prices and availability for next season. The prices are £300 for adults and £240 for concessions. A matchday programme is included in the price. The prices will be held at this level until 31st January 2008.
