IPSWICH ‘Sacker’s Witches home clash with Scunthorpe Scorpions was called off at 7pm last night after another heavy shower left the track unraceable. With blue skys set to follow, it was hugely frustrating for the home promotion who didn’t want to lose another home meeting after the loss of the Plymouth clash two weeks ago. But the track would have taken quite a while to get back into shape – the damage having been done. No new date has been set for the clash, although the Witches and Scorpions do battle at the Eddie Wright Raceway in Scunthorpe tonight, with both sides unchanged from last night.
